Follow Self-Discovery Journey of Nun & Her Devil Companion
INDIKA explores a dichotomy between religion and the real world.
Developer Odd Meter together with publisher 11 bit studios released a gameplay teaser for INDIKA, an unusual story-driven game that follows a young nun on her journey of self-discovery, accompanied by the devil himself.
Set in alternative Russia of the late XIX century, INDIKA allows you to discover surreal landscapes seen in a distorted mirror as well as religious visions conflicting with the real world.

"On the outside, Indika seems to be a typical nun attempting to adjust to a difficult and monotonous monastery life. Humble and innocent in her appearance, do not be deceived as this young girl has also made a highly unlikely acquaintance — as she speaks with the devil himself."

Odd Meter describes this experience as a "wild combination of comedy and tragedy straight out of the novels by Dostoyevski and Bulhakov." The teaser shows off an interesting combination of routine reality and bizarre visions probably induced by the devil.
If you'd like to learn about the development of the title, powered by Unreal Engine, take a look at our interview with the studio.
