Former Arkane Lyon Studio Director Romuald Capron Joins ZeDrimeTim
The newly-formed Parisian-based studio ZeDrimeTim announced that former studio director of Arkane Lyon, Romuald Capron, is joining the team and taking on the role of associate and executive producer.
The studio was founded in May 2022 by veterans from the video game, animation, and visual effects industries. Its principal members include the founder and former CEO of Focus Home Interactive Cédric Lagarrigue, former film visual effects supervisor Mika Tanguy, and another big name in movie animation Gilles Aujard.
ZeDrimeTim also revealed its debut project it is currently working on. The game is titled Darwin's Paradox and it will be a platformer and adventure game that takes inspiration from cinematic games like Limbo and Little Nightmares. Darwin's Paradox is developed on Unreal Engine 5 and is set to release for PC and console in 2024.
Capron commented on the new role saying "after an already quite full career in video games, I wanted to get involved in a project on a human scale." "I was immediately attracted by the art direction and gameplay mechanics of Darwin's Paradox and I'm really excited to help the team at ZeDrimeTim, to turn that vision into a game with a strong identity," he added.
