Former TechLand Members Opened New Publisher Company

Untold Tales aims to offer more transparent publishing deals for game developers.

Former TechLand staff founded a new publisher company for creating shorter and more transparent publishing deals for smaller game development studios. The set goal is "to cut the crap out" of game publishing which still remains in a poor state.

"We've seen or been a part of publishing deals that are very, very questionable. But there are examples out there of publishers who do this extremely well, so there are other ways of doing this.”

Paul Milewski, Communications lead

The team elaborates on the details of publishing agreements saying that Untold Tales won’t ask for rights for developers’ IP,  revenue share, or push game developers to unrealistic release dates. The company has already signed two games, and the third one is on the way.

Find out details and the team’s thoughts on publishing in the article on Gamesindustry.biz.
