Square Enix and Luminous Productions announced another delay of Forspoken. This time, it's pushed to January 24, 2023. The teams call this decision "strategic" and share that the development is in its final polishing stage, with all game elements now complete.
This is the second delay for Forspoken, it was initially set to be released in May, then moved to October. We can't say for sure what the "strategic" reason is, but considering there are several big titles coming out at the end of the year, like God of War Ragnarök, The Callisto Protocol, and The Last of Us remake, the decision might be justified.
Forspoken is an action role-playing game that was announced in 2020. In the game, you play as Frey Holland, a young woman trapped in a fantastical and dangerous land Athia who must harness her magical abilities to survive.
