Ubisoft isn't aiming for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
The Prince Of Persia fans have noticed that The Sands Of Time Remake is disappearing from pre-orders on different websites, which made them think the game is going to be canceled.
It's not, but you won't see it any time soon as Ubisoft shared that the game has been delisted because it no longer aims for a FY23 release.
"The development of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will now be led by Ubisoft Montreal," Ubisoft told IGN. "As a consequence, we are no longer targeting a FY23 release anymore and the game has been delisted. If players wish to cancel their preorder they are invited to contact their retailer. They will be updated on the project as the development is moving along."
This is not the first delay of the remake: it was first announced in 2020, and then the release date was moved from January 2021 to March. After meeting the fans' criticism of the graphics, Ubisoft postponed The Prince Of Persia again.
