They are not happy about age restrictions.

Fortnite has a huge playerbase and most of it now screams "revert" on social media, following a new age restriction policy.
The latest update of the hit shooter introduced age and content rating to islands and cosmetics "to help parents and players make informed play decisions about the thousands of games and other experiences in Fortnite." What it means is that if your skin's age rating is higher than that of the island, you can't wear it there. For example, if your outfit is meant for teen audiences, it will be replaced by a default costume on islands rated E (Everyone).

As you might have guessed, players were not happy with this decision and declared it to be the worst update in the history of Fortnite. As many have pointed out, paying for skins and then not being able to wear them is a questionable tactic at best.
After such a backlash, Epic released a statement saying that only a small portion of outfits is locked on Teen-rated islands and the company will make adjustments to them over the next year so they can be worn on any map.
"Today, about 7% of Fortnite Outfits can only be equipped in islands rated Teen (or regional equivalent). Over the next year we will enable most of these Outfits to be compatible with all ratings by having them auto-adjust appearance based on the island you want to play."
I doubt this will change fans' minds about the update, but the uproar could bring these outfit changes to the game quicker than Epic Games initially planned.
In contrast, another improvement to the game was met much better in the community, The developers introduced a voice chat reporting feature so you can report a person, and the moderators will get the last 5 minutes of the voice chat. unfortunately, it didn't save Epic from everyone's rage.
