A new release from Ehsan Bayat.
You might already be familiar with Ehsan Bayat's Twosify and Pickify, and now he's dropped yet another free tool for Maya animators: Vectorify. This new addition is designed for repathing animations and works seamlessly with animation cycles for both bipeds and quadrupeds, but the best part? It's not just limited to cycles, you can repath any animation in just a few clicks.
Vectorify lets you easily repath animations using temporary controls. You can snap animations to the ground, even on slopes, bumps, or uneven surfaces. The tool lets you turn bipeds or quadrupeds naturally in circles or any shape, and it can straighten curved paths effortlessly. You can instantly flip the animation direction or snap your path to another path in a snap. Also, Vectorify enables you to change the pivot point on a curve and provides a flexible Master Control, letting you decide whether it follows your character or remains independent with just a few clicks. Once you're happy with the result, you can bake it instantly and add your final touches.
Ehsan notes that this tool is specifically designed for repathing characters on a ground plane, has been tested on a wide range of characters and creatures, and is expected to work smoothly in 99.99% of cases.
