Paul-Thomas Ravel has released a cool free tool for level designers and environment artists.

Paul-Thomas Ravel has released a cool free tool for level designers and environment artists called Texel Checker. Basically, it helps users check metrics and texel density.

You just have to set your texture size and texel density, then the tool does the job! You can customize your texture so that it’s easier for you to work with. For now, you can only set your texel ratio from 0.32 to 10.24 and the texture size from 64px to 4096px. If you want to go further, contact me and I will update it.

Free to download and use for non-commercial purpose only, like personal projects, school projects, demo reel, etc.
