Freedom Games Secures $10 Million in Funding
The investment will allow the publisher to grow its indie game catalog and expand its community platform, wiki.gg.
Freedom Games announced that it has secured $10 million in funding. According to the studio, the money will go towards expanding the staff as well as further development of its community platform wiki.gg and growing the Freedom Games’ indie game catalog.
The round was led by Play Ventures with the participation of Nashville Capital Network (NCN) and GFR Fund.
Freedom Games was founded in 2020 and since then, has published a number of indie titles including Coromon, Dreamscaper, Dark Deity, Cat Cafe Manager, and Symphony of War. The studio also boasts of selling "hundreds of thousands of copies" of these games.

Not only will this enable us to bring even more high-quality indies to fruition and continue growing our platform for creators to share their content, but to also stay committed to our developer-first mindset by continuing to invest in our suite of tools and services for indie developers," said COO and Co-Founder of Freedom Games Ben Robinson.
