Fresh Until Dawn 2 Trailer Shows Neil Newbon & Lots of Blood
"Everyone can live. Everyone can die."
Until Dawn is Supermassive Games' crown jewel, which largely influenced the whole genre of "interactive movies" when it was released in 2015. Just two years ago, fans received a remake of the horror and a film adaptation last year, but the franchise keeps giving: PlayStation State of Play 2026 revealed Until Dawn 2 in an announcement trailer.

The game once again features a group of friends in a remote location. This crew of ghost hunters is used to faking their supernatural encounters, but this time, they'll have to face fear for real and survive until dawn.

"Having just signed a deal with a big TV network, the crew gets shipped off to an abandoned tropical island for their first fully funded episode. At first, it’s all sun, sand, secrets… plus some very not-safe-for-the-workplace drama as their complicated relationships bubble to the surface."

The trailer teases the game in all its gory glory, with guts spilling out and one character falling to their death after an unfortunate decision – the staple of Supermassive's titles, although this one is created by Firesprite.
"Everyone can live. Everyone can die," the developers say. But it would be sad to see Neil Newbon, whom you might know as Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3, Gavin Reed in Detroit: Become Human, and Karl Heisenberg in Resident Evil Village, perish. That's right, you can recognize his voice and his liking easily in the trailer.

"Would it even be an Until Dawn game without gut-wrenching decisions? Will you risk injury to save a cute baby boar from a gnarly bear trap? Keep a scandalous affair going, even if it could blow up the group? Push someone to their breaking point, all for the sake of content that your intimidating boss says you need to get?"
