Frostpunk 2 Will Join Xbox Game Pass on the Day of Its Release

11 bit studios, the developer of Frostpunk 2, has announced that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass upon release. It'll later be added to the Xbox Games catalog. Also, the studio stated that the post-apocalyptic survival city-builder will be released on Play Station 5, but at a later date.

On January 16, the developer released the debut gameplay trailer, which is just over 2 minutes long, presenting the city, its inhabitants, and the city-managing mechanics.

As we see in the video, players will take on the role of the settlement's mayor, addressing various problems from the residents. Similar to the first game, the sequel requires players to make crucial decisions with long-term consequences.

There's no information on when the game is coming, as Steam only mentions "2024". For now, you can add Frostpunk 2 to your wishlist on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
