FxGPT: A Cool Script That Integrates ChatGPT Into Houdini
The script was created by Venu Victor.
Head of Effects at Moving Picture Company Venu Victor has recently shared a couple of demos showcasing FxGPT, a neat Python-powered script for SideFX's Houdini that integrates OpenAI's ChatGPT directly into the software.
According to the author, the latest version of the script, FxGPTv02, is capable of analyzing the user input and asking the question "in such a way that answers are always to the dot", as well as enables one to ask what needs to be changed, added, or tweaked in order to achieve a specific visual result. In the future, the creator plans to "test [FxGPT] further on larger node networks," and "Auto Set requested Parameter changes and auto re-sim with wedges."
