Gabe Newell is Officially Richer Than Donald Trump

Gabe Newell is officially richer than the next US president Donald Trump. Forbes states that the owner of Valve is the 134th richest person in the world, with $4.1 billion, while Donald Trump is the 156th with $3.7 billion.

For those of you unfamiliar with the story of Gabe Newell, he runs Valve, which can be named the biggest generator of PC game sales with its Steam digital game store. Mr. Newell’s work is selling licenses to 125 million users of Valve’s own and other developers’ titles and collecting a percentage of the sales. Gabe Newell has managed the company since its opening in 1998 and among other huge projects we can remember games like Half-Life and Portal.

Newell is stated to own just over half the company that is based is Bellevue, Washington. Now the company is also working hard to reach the heights of VR marker with its recently released Vive.
