Black State received an 8-minute footage of a tech demo.
Black State, a single-player action-adventure third-person shooter by Motion Blur, received an 8-minute gameplay video. Announced in July, Black State is a mix of Metal Gear Solid-style stealth, Portal-like teleportation, and shooting. The new video is footage of the tech demo, starting with a scene on a cargo ship that reminds the players of the Metal Solid Gear 2 opening scene. Black State is still in development, so it is not the final version of how it will look.

In the game, players will need to disclose the underlying of a cataclysmic event during a secretive mission organized by a group of scientists. Omer Faruk Gungor, studio director at Motion Blur, the company behind the title, revealed that Inception was the key source of inspiration for the game.

Black State has stunning photorealistic visuals created with Unreal Engine. The footage demonstrates how the game looks with NVIDIA's RTX, which further enhances cinematic graphics. According to the report, the framerate rarely drops below 60 fps and consistently maintains 140 fps during non-combat situations.
Ray tracing raises the quality of lighting, reflections, and shadows, making them more detailed and vibrant. Recently, NVIDIA introduced this technology to the upcoming RPG Black Myth: Wukong, calling it one of the most immersive and technologically advanced titles released to date, as well as a range of other games, such as Diablo 4, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and Star Wars Outlaws.
