Generate Procedural Fern-Like Plants In Blender

A new free project from Alex Martinelli.

Alex Martinelli shared a free Blender file featuring Geometry Nodes modifiers designed to create a variety of procedural, fern-like plants. Compatible with Blender version 4.3 and later, the setup includes features like recursive leaf distribution, adjustable and randomizable roll factors, and templates for distributing ferns in circular or area patterns.

Users can control leaf count, shape, distribution, scale, inclination, and orientation with added global noise for enhanced realism. A texture-based material setup is also included.
