Get Your Game Funded by Participating in Insider Gaming Showcase for Free

Submit your game by March 20.

Insider Gaming

You might have the best, most creative idea for a game ever, but it's futile if nobody sees it because you don't have the money to release it. Thankfully, there is a great way to fund your project, and do it for free: Insider Gaming Showcase is here to help you get funded or find publisher backing.

"The gaming industry is going through unprecedented times, and one of the hardest challenges that developers currently face is funding, and it’s only getting more difficult. That’s why we want to use our outlet and its exposure to help games get seen – completely free of charge to developers."

The Showcase will feature back-to-back game trailers, "with no fluff in between to distract viewers from the awesome games currently in development" (nice quip, Insider Gaming). There will also be a "concept" section with concept art and ideas of games that haven’t yet reached a stage of development.

After the show, you'll get deep-dive video interviews with the developers and written coverage on Insider Gaming's website.

IG will be working with other outlets and content creators to facilitate potential interviews. Moreover, it will compile the games from the showcase into a dossier containing the contact information for each featured game, sent to its investors, VCs, and publishers after the show.

Insider Gaming, ambitiously, plans to add at least 1 million cumulative new wishlists to the games.

The Showcase will be broadcast on May 28 at 3 pm ET/12 pm PT/8 pm UK across Insider Gaming’s YouTube channel and social media platforms.

If you want to use this chance, submit your work by March 20. But if you don't have your game ready, don't worry: IG wants to make the Showcase a recurring event happening twice a year, with the next one taking place in December.

"Of course, we’re not ignorant of the fact that putting on a showcase costs time and money, and that’s why, behind the scenes, we’ve already partnered with a few companies to sponsor the show and are actively looking for a few more to help support this great initiative in times when developers need the exposure."
