Get Your Hands On This Fully-Rigged Spinosaur Dragon For Maya

Nav Singh has updated his Creature Station educational platform with a new rig and two accompanying courses.

Last year, Pixomondo's Lead Animator Nav Singh, who spent some time studying and animating rhinos, launched Creature Station, a platform designed for 3D animators looking to enhance their skills and connect with a community dedicated to high-quality creature animation.

The platform has been continuously growing, with an expanding library of courses and rigs, giving users access to resources designed for production-level work. The latest addition to Creature Station, created in collaboration with 3D Creature Artist Fernando Usabiaga Bustos, is a spinosaur-inspired dragon called Vesperion. After months of testing the rig, Nav Singh has finally released it to the public, along with the detailed breakdown you can watch above.

Compatible with Maya 2020 and above, the Vesperion rig boasts multiple texture variations and a body with 14 UDEMs, each featuring separate 4K textures. It includes three LOD levels for smooth playback and quality control, as well as an advanced wing setup with IK, FK fingers, and pivot-based IK controls. It also offers a high-quality face rig, wind controllers for the membranes, fingers, and tail, muscle controllers for simulating or animating muscles, and supercontrollers on both wings for quick and efficient wing posing.

The Vesperion rig is available for purchase either separately or bundled with 23 hours of pre-recorded courses to accelerate your dragon animation journey, including Walk and Flight tutorials.

Get the Vesperion rig here and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our new Discord server, follow us on InstagramTwitterLinkedInTelegramTikTok, and Threads, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
