Girl Crying in Heart-Wrenching Aimation Made for VR Film

Another fantastic work by Nicolas Roth.

Nicolas Roth, a well-known animator whose work you've likely seen on our pages more than once, is ready to break hearts with his new animation depicting a crying girl sitting alone in a cold room. The sequence was created in Blender for Inlusio Interactive's Peace Untold, a "VR film about the struggle for peace that affects each and every one of us today."

"The animated and docu-fictional VR film tells the story of Emma, a nurse who travels to the Eastern Front during World War II, experiencing the atrocities of war first-hand and reflecting on how to build a lasting peace."

You can clearly see Roth's recognizable style in the stylized strokes – ones he's demonstrated in his other works, like STARTAFIGHT, an impressive 2D and 3D animation mix; Vesper – The Mad Emperor, a character animation created for Agora Studio's AnimChallenge; a walk cycle for Arcane's Jinx; a neat jacket simulation, and more.
