Recently, Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, said that GTA 6 will probably not be available for subscription on the first day of its release.
In his recent interview, Zelnick discussed subscription services like Game Pass, saying that Take-Two supports such platforms with its legacy titles. However, the company is skeptical about publishing brand-new AAA games on subscription services on the release day. At the same time, Zelnick shared that "offering a frontline title with a premium price in a subscription service, day and date, will push consumers to that subscription service for at least a period of time." Still, the Take-Two boss stated that it wouldn't affect their decisions. "Our decisions are rational," added Zelnick.
