Technical Artist and FX Supervisor Matthieu Pujol has celebrated this year's Halloween with an incredible ocean shore simulation inspired by one of the shots from Terminator: Dark Fate's infamous opening scene. According to the author, the simulation was set up in Houdini 19 using a combination of FLIP and Vellum grains, and rendered with Arnold. The goal of the project was to study how sand interacts with water and learn more about setting up digital foam.
