Have a Look at This Ocean Shader with Dynamic Foam & Realistic Reflections
Download Dan Greenheck's Three.js Water Pro and bring lifelike marine scenes to life.
Developer Dan Greenheck impressed the audience with a highly realistic visualization of ocean waves with lifelike foam.
The setup is a physically-based WebGPU ocean shader with FFT wave simulation featuring dynamic foam, caustics, and atmospheric rendering. The scene also includes a wide range of environmental effects, from calm tropical shallows to fierce hurricane seas. Apart from this, the setup ensures realistic reflections, as the water surface responds to light the way real water does, and atmospheric fog enhances the scene.
Dan Greenheck also showcased a procedural tree generator and previously shared another Three.js tree generator prototype that likely served as its foundation:
