HBO has given a green light to a game-based series.
Initially announced in March 2020, The Last of Us series finally got a green light from HBO. Although there’s no exact release date or casting details, the production team is quite impressive.
Chernobyl’s creators Craig Mazin and Carolyn Strauss will team up with Neil Druckmann and Evan Wells from Naughty Dog and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan to bring Joel and Ellie’s story into the series. The series is written by Mazin and Druckmann and is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television.
