The footage boasts cinematic-level quality.
At The Game Awards 2021, Xbox and Ninja Theory have released the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. In this trailer, we can see the main hero Senua and her companions fighting a gigantic human-looking creature, throwing flaming spears at it, and subsequently running away from it. The quality of the gameplay footage is simply astonishing, looking more like a pre-made cinematic rather than gameplay.
First announced in 2019, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is set in ninth-century Iceland, following the events of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The game didn't have any gameplay footage before that and this is the game’s first substantial appearance ever since it was announced.
The release date has, unfortunately, not been released. What is known is that the game is exclusive for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
