The game is coming later this year for PC and PS5.
During the PlayStation Showcase 2023, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arrowhead Game Studios announced Helldivers II, a sequel to the developer's shooter game, released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita back in 2015.
Stylized as an enlistment ad, the announcement trailer shared a glimpse at the upcoming title's gameplay, showing high-tech soldiers eviscerating hordes of bugs, fighting for freedom, and protecting Super-Earth from the invaders. Additionally, the trailer revealed that Helldivers II will be a third-person shooter, unlike its top-down predecessor.
The game is coming sometime in 2023 for PC and PlayStation 5.
