The director posted some photos after Reedus shared they'd started working on the game.
A week ago, Norman Reedus revealed that he is working on Death Stranding 2 saying, "We just started the second one." Soon, Hideo Kojima posted a photo where he is swinging a bat at the actor with the caption "go to your private room, my friend."
A private room is a place for the Death Stranding protagonist to rest, so that pretty much confirms that the post is Kojima's reaction to Reedus's 'leak'. It also shows the men hugging, so don't be too concerned about Kojima's feelings about the matter.
