High-Performance Grass Rendering System For VRChat Worlds
A new release from RED_SIM.
RED_SIM, the creator of VRC Light Volumes, has released a new system called GPU Infinite Grass for VRChat worlds. It uses GPU instancing to efficiently render grass in batches across both large open environments and smaller scenes, and is said to be capable of rendering millions of grass instances on PC without performance drops.
GPU Infinite Grass supports VRC Light Volumes and Unity lighting, features paint-based grass placement, reacts to players and moving objects, and offers advanced visual customization options. It's also suitable for both PC and mobile/Quest workflows, and comes with an example scene to make setup and fine-tuning easier.
It's sold under a single-user asset license, meaning sharing, redistribution, or transferring the asset, including modified versions, is not allowed. You may use it in your own VRChat worlds or avatars, but for commission work, the client must purchase their own copy. Commercial use outside VRChat requires a Commercial License.
