Voxel-Based Baked Volumetric Lighting Solution For VRChat

Brighten up your worlds with RED_SIM's VRC Light Volumes.

Created by RED_SIM, VRC Light Volumes is a fast, optimized, next-generation voxel-based light probes replacement for VRChat, though it's flexible enough to be used outside of it as well. It's fully open-source, free to use, and easy to integrate into your worlds.

VRC Light Volumes features baked per-pixel voxel-based lighting that affects avatars and dynamic props (with shader integration). It's fast and highly performant, allowing light colors to change at runtime. The system supports up to 32 visible light volumes simultaneously and can handle up to 128 optimized Point, Spot, or Area light sources at once. It also provides baked shadows and works with dynamic batching to potentially boost performance. Compatible with both Bakery and Unity Progressive lightmappers, VRC Light Volumes integrates with AudioLink and TV screens and is very easy and quick to set up.
