Hogwarts Legacy keeps reaching new heights. Just three days after release, its sales secured first place in the UK chart, making it the biggest launch among Harry Potter games.
Hogwarts Legacy's physical sales are 64% higher than the ones the previous winner, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, saw in its first week. According to Gamesindustry.biz, it already surpassed the Philosopher’s Stone's most successful week by 2%, and this is without taking into account digital copies.
Right now, Harry Potter is the 26th biggest video game franchise in the UK. Its first-week sales are 80% higher than what Elden Ring's were last year.
Hogwarts Legacy's release moved God of War Ragnarök to No.2 this week and FIFA 23 to third place.
