Gotham Knights and Back 4 Blood have also met the expected performance targets set by the company.
The launch sales of Hogwarts Legacy have apparently surpassed Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's internal estimates by a significant margin. References to the financial success of various games were discovered on the LinkedIn profiles of current brand managers from Warner Bros.
As spotted by Twitter user Timur22, Arien Darby, a senior brand and marketing manager at WB Games, mentioned on their LinkedIn profile that Hogwarts Legacy had exceeded its planned sell-thru by 256% during its launch.
"As I reflect on my role as the brand marketing lead for Hogwarts Legacy, the success of our campaign still feels surreal after such an epic 5+ year odyssey," Darby wrote in a LinkedIn post.
The publisher's specific expectations for the release were not revealed, however, as the company had previously stated, Hogwarts Legacy sold over 12 million copies in its first two weeks.
It is likely that WB will reveal the current performance of the title at the next meeting with shareholders, which will be held in early May.
Additionally, the action game Gotham Knights and co-op shooter Back 4 Blood both met Warner Bros.' expectations, as mentioned in the profile of another manager, Edgar Gamez. Although the company has not yet disclosed the exact sales figures for these titles.
