In a recent press release, miHoYo shared that its free-to-play turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail had achieved 100 million downloads globally in less than a year following its release on April 26, 2023.
However, the studio didn't disclose specific details regarding the distribution of downloads across mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation 5 versions.

Just a week ago, it was revealed that the mobile version of Genshin Impact had earned an impressive $5 billion, making it the fastest-grossing mobile game in the world.
According to data.ai, Genshin Impact achieved this milestone within 40 months of release. In comparison, the previous record holder, Clash of Clans, reached $5 billion in revenue after 51 months. Now, all eyes are on Honkai: Star Rail to see if it can surpass Genshin Impact's record.
