Guerrilla has announced that Horizon Forbidden West has gone Gold. The company says that they are ready to start printing and distributing the game, so everyone would be able to experience Aloy's new journey in less than a month. According to the announcement, Horizon Forbidden West is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles on 18 February 2022.
"I want to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone on the team for what we have achieved together and the community for their continued support and excitement as we’re preparing for launch," comments Angie Smets, Studio Director and Executive Producer at Guerrilla.
A week ago, Sony Interactive Entertainment had released a new story trailer for the upcoming game, offering a glimpse at some of the game's plot points like the world-ending blight, Regalla and her rebels, and Sylens and his machinations. Plus, the trailer demonstrated some amazing scenes from Horizon Forbidden West, captured on PS5.
