Impressive Rig of Folded Cloth Made with Blender

Bosun Omoloso created the rig using bones.

3D Rigging Artist Bosun Omoloso showcased an incredible rigging experiment in Blender, focusing on the movement of folded cloth.

The study demonstrates realistic fabric behavior, created entirely through the use of bones for deformation and control. The artist explained that using shape keys will lead to issues while visualizing bending the leg.

Bosun Omoloso showed other amazing works and shared custom rigs on Gumroad:

Also, check out stunning rigs by 2D/3D Illustrator and Animator A$AP BERG, who recreated Invisible Woman, Galacta, and Tifa Lockhart, and shared a demo of demo of the Peni Parker rig.
