In This Colorful Metroidvania Game You'll Explore an Interconnected 3D World
It kind of reminds me of Adventure Time.
Maseylia: Echoes of the Past is a Metroidvania 3D platformer game where you'll explore the ruins, nature, and ancient technology of Maseylia.
The world is interconnected with freedom of movement, deep exploration, and atmospheric discovery.
According to developers, every new ability will dramatically change how you move around the environment, opening hidden paths, enabling sequence breaking, and rewarding curiosity at every turn. I feel like it's a mix of Hollow Knight with the visual style of Adventure Time.
The game promises to have non-linear exploration, abilities like double jump, 360° air dash, Grapple, and more, a rich storytelling, and deep lore. Developers took inspiration from Metroid Prime, Pseudoregalia, and Hollow Knight.
Developers explained that it took them three years to create the game, and at three weeks away from release, it has reached 15,000 wishlist on Steam! For an indie game, this is a great accomplishment.
The game is set to be released on PC on June 19 of this year, and later it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch. You can now download the demo and add it to your Steam wishlist.
