In3D: Make Realistic Avatars Using a Phone Camera

An easy way to make your digital copy.

Take a look at in3D – a mobile app that allows you to create a realistic avatar using a phone camera. The scans can then be used in Unreal Engine, Unity, NVIDIA Omniverse, and other programs with in3D SDK.

"in3D provides True-To-Life avatars, allowing developers to scan their users into photorealistic 3D avatars. in3D provides a platform to scan and integrate avatars into apps, games, or any digital environment that is built on Unity, Unreal Engine 4, or Unreal Engine 5."

All you need to do is scan your face and body and then customize the resulting avatar in the app. The 3D model can be exported in FBX, GLB, or USDZ. You can see how it works in the video above.

You can get in3D from Google Play or App Store for free. Learn more about the program here and don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
