The game has also received the grand prize at the IGF Awards becoming the first title in the history of the events to win both top prizes.
Daniel Mullins’ indie hit Inscryption won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the Independent Games Festival Awards as well as the Game of the Year award at the Game Developers Choice Awards which are annually presented at the Game Developers Conference. Apart from Inscryption, Insomniac Games' Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was among the Game Developers Choice Awards winners taking prizes for the best visual art as well as the best technology. Unpacking, a puzzle video game developed by Witch Beam, received the Best Audio award and the Innovation Award.
