Wysilab released Instant Terra 2.4 and 2.5 – the updates for the real-time terrain editor. The new versions add shadows, PBR materials, and a road system.
Instant Terra 2.5 has a new Road node, which is used to lay roads on the terrain. The node automatically deforms the terrain to ensure a horizontal section along the road. It comes in two versions: with colored and uncolored roads.
The update also adds two new mask generators: Line, which generates a mask in the shape of a line, and Arc, which creates a mask in the shape of an arc of a circle.
Instant Terra 2.5 is available for Windows 7+. A perpetual license costs $149 for 8K export and $199 for unlimited resolution.
