Interactive Main Menu From An Upcoming Indie Post-Apocalyptic Parkour Platformer

MOTORSLICE has received lots of improvements as its release approaches.

MOTORSLICE developer Regular Studio has brought the game's main menu to a new level in regards to interaction — as requested by the fans, the sleepy girl P can now sneeze, say goodbye, and rage quit you if you torment her besides reacting with your touch.

If you missed our first coverage about the game, MOTORSLICE is an upcoming slice-of-life action-adventure game with dynamic parkour mechanics, created by a team of two from the countryside of Brazil. You take the role of protagonist P, who must climb, slide, crouch, wall-run, stunt, and chainsaw her way through a variety of hardcore deadly traps scattered throughout the game's liminal, megalophobia-inducing map. On your way, you'll encounter a variety of mechanical enemies, from smaller machines to massive dump trucks, which you'll need to climb and slice.

As the team aims to ship the game this year, they've been working hard to bring in tons of improvements. During this process, little P grows more powerful and embraces plenty of new characteristics. For example, she might stop in the middle of a hunt and pose to the camera, get blushed, and her hair is more dynamic and blows in the environment, and capable of parrying the massive dump truck:

With the powerful chainsaw, she can slice anything that is on the way into two parts. Be careful, and she might go crazy if you leave her alone for five hours, as proved by this first-person video showing what will happen:

By January this year, the game had been in development for two years, and during that period, it had evolved greatly. There are additional demos available on X/Twitter that provide further insights into the game's mechanics, levels, collectible orbs, and more.

Although we are getting closer to the launch, there is still no official release date yet. However, this announcement may come later, so stay updated by following the game on social media and adding it to your wishlist on Steam to be notified when it's released.
