As humans, we can't help but wonder about extraterrestrial life: Do they really exist? Have they ever visited our planet? Coverage of those spooky alien encounters always triggers great interest. If you're also interested in topics about aliens, there's a first-person narrative horror game you might want to check out. It's called They Are Here: Alien Abduction Horror.
They Are Here: Alien Abduction Horror
Drawing inspiration from popular movies like Signs and The X-Files, the game immerses players in a narrative centered around Grayswood Farm, a location plagued by strange phenomena. You step into the shoes of Taylor Fox, a journalist assigned to document the eerie happenings on the farm. Reports of bright lights in the sky, violent behavior in animals, and other odd events are waiting for your investigation. However, you soon find yourself facing horrors far beyond what you anticipated.

"The player will be investigating the area ⎯ searching for artifacts, reading notes and documents, examining photos, studying audio and video tapes. The player’s tools include a flashlight, a walkie-talkie, a camera and video equipment to record evidence of the aliens’ activity. There are several locations in the game: a farm, a military base, etc."

The game is developed by indie developer and Reddit user AlexanderDudarev and his wife, who are big fans of alien horror movies. They plan to launch the game this year and prepared a demo on Steam for those who'd like to give it a try. Per players who tried the demo (I must admit, I wasn't brave enough to do it myself), it is quite good and the music is terrifying. We highly recommend you give it a try if alien horror is your type of game and follow the developer on Twitter to get to know the game better. There are a lot more screenshots and footage from the game on Twitter, let's check them out:
