PUBG developer KRAFTON has shared a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming life sim.
KRAFTON, a Korean developer known for PUBG: Battlegrounds, has recently shared a new roadmap overview/gameplay trailer for inZOI, the studio's upcoming life simulator best described as an Unreal Engine 5-powered competitor to EA's The Sims.
First announced back in 2023, inZOI allows players to take on god-like roles within the game, granting them the power to reshape everything according to their wishes and "experience endless new stories in various forms of life".
In their latest trailer, inZOI developers shared insights into various aspects of the game, delving into the driving system, distinct and more lifelike compared to GTA, and showcasing group activities available with other Zois, the name of in-game characters. Additionally, they spoke about inZOI's relationship/reputation system, which the devs call "karma" as the activities you do can affect your future, showcased the city edit mode that will allow the player to tweak the playable area to their liking, and offered a look at inZOI's comprehensive character creator, powered by UE5.
At the moment, the game's release date remains undisclosed, with KRAFTON planning to share another development showcase and answer the community's questions sometime in May. You can learn more about inZOI by clicking this link.
