Jarvi Games Secures $3 Million in Seed Funding

The investment will go towards the development of the studio's open-world MMO Vice Online.

Jarvi Games announced that it has raised $3 million in seed funding. The round was led Play Ventures with the participation of Velo Partners and The Games Fund.

Jarvi Games was founded in 2021 by Ukrainian developers Alexander Lysenko, Ihor Lysenko, Dmitry Burnos, and Serhii Hrynenko. Currently, the studio is based in Cyprus and has over 30 people spread out between Lviv, Ukraine, and Warsaw, Poland.

The company said it will use the capital to fund its Grand Theft Auto-inspired open-world multiplayer mobile game, Vice Online, that it's currently working on. The studio is planning to launch the title in late 2023.

"We are thrilled that prominent international investors have faith in our vision and are backing us. We see a massive opportunity in the multiplayer games space, and we are committed to making bold and innovative moves," Lysenko said.
