Jump'n Run With a Soccer Ball In This Upcoming 2D Side-Scroller Platformer

Kick is set to be released later this year.

Kicking soccer with friends on the way to school is always a cherished childhood memory. Now, that experience has been transformed into a new game.

Indie game developer nospacelost has unveiled a 2D side-scroller platformer with an anime graphic style they've been working on, which is called Kick. It is a Jump'n Run with a soccer ball, which allows players to navigate it with skill and finesse through a happy adventure.

"Kick, jump 'n run through various levels with skill, avoid damaging stuff and don't be late for school. Rush, explore and collect all soccer balls from the toy capsule machines to unlock skins for your ball. Timers can be disabled if you're not looking for a challenge and just want to relax," reads the game's description.
According to the trailer, there seem to be various modes you can take the challenge, such as city mode where you travel through the crowds and obstacles like barrels, containers, roadblocks, and more, or catch the train mode where you'll try your best to jump onto the train before it shuts its doors and leaves.
You can even get some help from a dog, who will collect extra coins for your lucky cat money box along the way. Platforming isn't the only gameplay you'll enjoy in Kick; the various mini-games, like pinball, will let you have different kinds of fun.
