Let's have a look at new features of the recently released KeyShot 9.
First of all, KeyShot 9 allows to rely on the full GPU-accelerated ray-tracing power of NVIDIA RTX with OptiX. The mode is available for both real-time rendering and local render output, and GPU resources can be accessed with one-click to use multi-GPU performance scaling and the dedicated ray tracing acceleration hardware in NVIDIA RTX-capable GPUs.
The update also features the Denoise feature that works in both CPU and GPU mode allowing users to eliminate noise in the Real-Time View and render output. "Turn Denoise on and watch your image render up to 30x faster with the advantage of using it in an unlimited number of KeyShot Image Styles," states a feature list.
Another major thing is RealClothTM (PRO) which is a patent-pending technology from Luxion for the creation and visualization of realistic woven materials. Users get control of the weave pattern (Pro) and the ability to add flyaway fibers. What is more, the 9th edition introduces new RealCloth materials.
