Kingdom Come Deliverance II Is Officially Revealed

It's coming later this year.

As we reported last week, game insiders were right when sharing that Warhorse Studios was going to reveal the next installment of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Speaking of which, Warhorse Studios has officially unveiled Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, released the announcement trailer, and shared details about the new chapter of the story.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, players will once again take on the role of the character of Henry as they venture through the unforgiving yet captivating open world of medieval Europe. Set in 15th-century Bohemia, Henry's journey intertwines with various characters who help him in his mission to defy King Sigismund of Hungary and seek vengeance for his parents' death, leading him from a determined soldier to a rebellious figure.

Warhorse Studios has poured their passion into Deliverance II, incorporating elements they envisioned for the original game but were unable to realize due to constraints. With approximately five hours of cutscenes – two hours more than its predecessor – the sequel boasts a doubled game world size for an immersive medieval experience.

Combat has been refined to offer a more realistic and visceral experience, catering to diverse styles like mounted assaults and stealth tactics. The game's enhanced role-playing system allows players to shape Henry's fate through their choices, while a reputation system influences character interactions and quest outcomes based on player actions.

"That all means that it's actually on you, who you want to be," shared Viktor Bocan, Design and Combat director. "You can save the world, or you can help punish it for its sins."

The game is coming later this year, with the release date to be announced. You can play the game on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. As for now, you can add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
