Koi Becoming Dragon Legend in This Unusual Animation

Filip Ugrin's art might really hold your attention.

Filip Ugrin, also known as Saint Vulture, is a master of his craft: he creates fantastical stories in his stop-motion Blender animations, and in the latest one, you can recognize the legend of the koi dragon.

The myth says that a koi fish spent many years trying to climb the waterfall, and it was eventually turned into a dragon by the gods as a reward for its perseverance. Ugrin combined the literal and metaphorical meanings of the story in his 3D heart.

If this is something you want to see more of, I recommend visiting the creator's X/Twitter or Instagram, both full of mysterious imagery. His works are often inspired by alchemy, neoplatonism, and cybernetics.
