LAIKA Studios Reveals First Trailer For Wildwood
The award-winning studio returns with a new stop-motion adventure, along with captivating behind-the-scenes footage.
Best known for its fantastic adaptation of Coraline by Neil Gaiman, the studio is back with a new project based on the book by Colin Meloy. Wildwood is set to arrive in cinemas this autumn.
It's LAIKA's first stop-motion animated film since 2019’s The Missing Link. Wildwood tells the story of seventh-grader Prue McKeel, who enters an enchanted forest beyond Portland to rescue her little brother, Mac, after he's abducted by crows. With her classmate Curtis Mehlberg by her side, Prue has to make her way through a world of magical creatures, bandits, and talking animals to bring Mac home.
