Laura Bailey Would "Definitely Go Back" to the Role of The Last of Us Part II's Abby

The voice actress shared that she would "100% go back" to play Abby one more time if The Last of Us Part III is ever to see the light of day.

Actress Laura Bailey, who voiced The Last of Us Part II's Abby and is also known as the voice of Mary Jane Watson from Marvel's Spider-Man, recently spoke about her experience of voicing the games' characters and talked about an opportunity to return to the role of Abby.

In an interview with Comic Book Movie, Bailey referred to Abby as "one of the most influential roles" she's had in her life and noted that she would really want to go back to the character if The Last of Us Part III is ever to see the light of day.

"I know there was a lot of drama and response to her character, but it was one of the most influential roles I’ve had in my life," Bailey said. "I would 100% go back to play more Abby if the opportunity came up. The series looks amazing and I cannot wait to see more of it."

Elsewhere in the interview, Bailey also spoke about her role in Spider-Man, saying that she was really happy to work with Insomniac Games on the project. Bailey shared it was an interesting experience voicing Mary Jane and added that it is fun to her that, while playing the game, she doesn't recognize herself in the character.

"It was so much fun! Anytime I get to do performance capture is such a stellar experience and Insomniac is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked with," Bailey said. "It’s funny because I go back and listen to myself as Mary Jane and, even though it’s me, I don’t hear myself so much in that role, so I’m able to play the game and separate myself from it which is really fun."
