Concept Artist and Creative Director Ellie Cooper and online art school Learn Squared have recently shared a couple of incredible new courses that will help you get a better understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and learn how the engine can be best utilized for 3D concept art.
The first course, "Unreal Engine 5 Basics", mostly covers the engine's fundamentals, explaining how to get started with the engine and navigating the essential tools and techniques it has to offer. The guide features ten beginner-friendly lessons that explain how to use UE5 for lighting and rendering, how to work with cameras and MetaHumans, how to set up landscapes, and more.
The second course, "Concept Art in Unreal Engine 5", is a more comprehensive and detailed guide on using the engine specifically for concept art. In this series of tutorials, Ellie unveiled her entire workflow, from initial sketches to finalized portfolio pieces, explaining how UE5's Lumen and Nanite features can be used for the task. What's more, the second course includes the first one as a free bundle.
