A Character Artist Ida Faber has released a tutorial on creating game-ready hair without XGen.
A Character Artist from Latvia Ida Faber has released a great tutorial on making a 10k vertical, game-ready hairstyle without using XGen during the working process. To create hair strands, Faber used the FiberShop tool, a real-time hair card texturing tool. Hair placement was made in Maya but according to the artist, any similar tool will work. Rendering was done in Marmoset Toolbag.
