Rotate and scale a mesh selection while keeping it constrained.
If you needed a sign to try MACHIN3tools, here it is. Thomas "Pilgrim" Butters has demonstrated its Edge Constrained Transform tool, and all Blender artists immediately wondered why vanilla Blender didn't have it.
"Edge Constrained Transform is a tool capable of rotating and scaling an edit mesh selection while keeping it constrained to the connected, unselected edges. It's primarily used to adjust existing topology, without affecting the form significantly or at all."
MACHIN3tools is a Blender add-on that offers numerous features and pie menus that I'm sure you need. Some of them are: Smart Vert, Smart Edge, Clean Up, Edge Constraint, Extrude, Focus, Mirror and Un-Mirror, Align, Group, and Customize.
It seems like Butters uses the add-on plenty in his works, so if you want to create something similar to his robotic animal, realistic gun, and worn revolver, grab it now.
