Magical 2D-Like Postcard Created in Blender

Eri Kitamura can teach you how to do it.

Eri Kitamura, a 3D artist who expresses themselves in pastel watercolors, presented a new beautiful project: a postcard with a girl on it that looks like a 2D painting. She is listening to music, surrounded by flowers of her imagination.

You can follow the texture painting process on Kitamura's X/Twitter and see their other stunning works there as well. If you want to learn how to create Blender pieces in this way, check out the artist's course, although you will need to know Japanese for it.

This style reminds me of Gaku Tada's gorgeous 3D projects, like this cute Red Cardinal in a winter scene or these colorful flowers. You can learn about his art and views on the industry in our interview.
